Listen Up
Clément Kasili’s debut EP "Partir Pour Rester" is a six-track, independently produced introduction to his music, released on June 27, 2024. Built around classical guitar, the instrumental EP works like a series of sonic postcards, minimal yet emotionally deep, exploring travel, nostalgia, intimacy and multicultural encounters. Rhythm is treated as a metaphor for life’s comings and goings, and each piece invites reflective, immersive listening.
Visually and symbolically anchored by a sunflower on the cover (photographed in Spain), the record speaks of light, hope and a spiritual yearning, leaving to grow and returning changed. Designed for moments of calm, escape and discovery, the EP marks Clément Kasili’s first personal statement : intimate, cinematic and open to each listener’s own interpretation.
“Rouge” is a full-band piece by Clément Kasili, built around piano and enriched with a brass section (saxophone, trumpet, trombone), bass and drums.
The melody is in fact Clément’s very first composition, written in childhood and carried with him over the years. It slowly grew and transformed alongside him before reaching its final form in 2024. The cover artwork features the real pair of shoes he wore as a child, a simple and personal symbol of where the story began.
